Get to Know Us!

Hello Everyone, I’m Dr. Lauren and I am so glad you’re here!

I was born and raised in Florence, Wisconsin where my interest in chiropractic began. Through years of figure skating I accumulated injuries over time and began seeing a chiropractor when I was in high school. After being under chiropractic care myself, I was able to see how influential chiropractic care could be and how great of an impact it had on people’s lives. This was the beginning of my chiropractic journey!

After graduating high school, I went on to attend UW-Green Bay where I majored in Biology. Following graduation, I attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia to begin my chiropractic career. After 3.5 years of school, I graduated cum laude with my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (DC). During my time in school, I was able to complete my internship at the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan. I practiced in the Appleton, Wisconsin area for a few years before moving back to the U.P. with my fiancé so we could be closer to all of our family.

Throughout my years in practice, I developed a love for pediatrics and caring for families! I am certified in the Webster Technique (a chiropractic technique specifically designed for pregnancy) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and have taken advanced classes and certification through the Pediatric Experience. I am also certified in Kinesiology taping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM- a soft tissue scraping technique) and am two courses away from becoming a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP).

Throughout the years following chiropractic school I developed a passion in nutrition and holistic healthcare. I love finding and learning about healthier alternatives and getting closer to living as toxin free as possible. While this is a never-ending journey, it is something I work on (and still find challenging) every day!

When not in the office, you can find me with my husband and our dog Murphy! My favorite days are spent with family (we have many adorable nephews and a beautiful niece that are so much fun!) and our friends. I enjoy spending time outdoors shooting trap and fishing in the summers and coaching figure skating and downhill skiing in the winters.
